THE CORE CLUB TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • Classes are subject to change, please check the The Core Club schedule for details and updates.

  •  In order to reserve a spot, classes must be prepaid.

  • Drop-Ins are welcome, but a spot cannot be guaranteed.

  • All sales are final and non-refundable.

  • Grip socks are recommended for all classes and are available for purchase at the studio.

  • New Clients should arrive at the studio 10 minutes prior to class in order to receive a tutorial on all equipment and sign any applicable waivers.

  • New Clients will not be able to participate in class if arriving at the studio less than 5 minutes before class start and class credits will not be refunded - this is to ensure safety and a timely class start.

  • Existing clients will have their spot held up to 5 minutes after class start, after 5 minutes their spot may be given to a standby client.

  • For Pregnant clients, we do not recommend starting this workout if you are currently pregnant and have never done the workout before. Please talk to your doctor before signing up for this workout. If you are more than 4-5 months pregnant, we will require a doctors note prior to allowing you to participate in the class. This is for your own safety!

CANCELLATIONS

  • Change of plans? No worries. We have an 8 hour cancellation policy.

  • Just cancel your class 8 hours or more before class and you will receive a full credit back onto your account without penalty fees.

  • Late cancellations will be charged a $15 fee and no shows will be charged a $25 fee for all memberships and packages.

  • Session/Credit Packages will have their class credit added back to their account after fees are assessed for late cancels and no shows.

  • All classes should be cancelled via The Core Club app or online.

WAITLIST

  • Class already full? Join the Waitlist.

  • To join the wait list you must have a class credit in your account.

  • If a spot opens up, you will be notified by email and text message.

  • To receive these reminders your profile MUST be set to accept email & text notifications and reminders.

MONTHLY UNLIMITED

  • No shows will incur a $25 no show fee and late cancels will incur and $15 late cancel fee. No exceptions. 

  • Limit 1 class per day. 

  • Unlimited members get access to 14 day priority booking for 50% of the classes.

  • Additional classes booked in the same day will be charged at the rate of $21 per additional class.

  • A valid Credit Card is required to be kept on file.

LIABILITY WAIVER

MASTER ASSUMPTION OF RISK, WAIVER, RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ARBITRATION AGREEMENT

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY — THIS DOCUMENT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS AND INCLUDES A WAIVER OF YOUR RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND CLASS ACTION.

This Master Assumption of Risk, Waiver, Release of Liability and Arbitration Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between The Core Club OC, LLC d/b/a The Core Club, together with its owners, members, managers, affiliates, subsidiaries, instructors, employees, contractors, agents, successors, assigns, and all current and future locations (collectively referred to as “The Core Club”) and the undersigned participant (“Participant,” “you,” or “your”).

This Agreement applies to all facilities, services, classes, programs, equipment, products, and activities offered by The Core Club, including but not limited to:

• Reformer Pilates classes
• Heated Sculpt classes
• Heated Barre classes
• Group fitness classes
• Private training sessions
• Workshops and special events
• Outdoor or pop-up classes
• Retail purchases
• Café or juice bar services
• Any future services offered by The Core Club

This Agreement also applies to all areas of The Core Club premises, including but not limited to:

• Studios and exercise rooms
• Lobbies and waiting areas
• Hallways and stairways
• Locker rooms and restrooms
• Entrances and exits
• Sidewalks and walkways
• Parking lots and surrounding outdoor areas
• Retail areas
• Café spaces
• Any location owned, leased, operated, or utilized by The Core Club

Participation in any of the above shall be collectively referred to as “Activities.”

1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

You acknowledge that participation in fitness activities, exercise classes, and use of exercise equipment involves inherent risks, including the risk of serious bodily injury, illness, permanent disability, or death.

Activities at The Core Club may include but are not limited to:

• Pilates reformer training
• Strength and resistance training
• Barre and sculpt classes
• Heated studio workouts
• Use of weights, springs, cables, straps, resistance bands, and other exercise equipment
• Rapid or repetitive movements in group class environments

You understand that potential risks include but are not limited to:

• Muscle strains, sprains, or tears
• Joint injuries or dislocations
• Back, neck, or spinal injuries
• Slips, trips, and falls
• Equipment malfunction or misuse
• Injuries caused by other participants
• Overexertion or fatigue
• Dehydration or dizziness
• Heat exhaustion or heat stroke
• Cardiovascular complications
• Injuries occurring while entering or exiting the facility
• Injuries occurring in parking lots, sidewalks, stairways, entrances, or surrounding outdoor areas

You voluntarily assume all risks, both known and unknown, associated with participation in Activities and use of The Core Club facilities.

2. REFORMER AND FITNESS EQUIPMENT

You acknowledge that Activities may involve the use of Pilates reformers and other specialized fitness equipment, including springs, cables, straps, resistance bands, platforms, and free weights.

You understand that:

• Exercise equipment may break, malfunction, or fail
• Improper use of equipment may cause injury
• Equipment may be used by multiple participants

You voluntarily assume all risks associated with the use or misuse of such equipment.

3. HEATED STUDIO ENVIRONMENTS

Certain classes at The Core Club may take place in heated studio environments.

You understand that exercising in heated conditions may increase the risk of:

• Dehydration
• Dizziness or fainting
• Heat exhaustion
• Heat stroke
• Cardiovascular stress

You acknowledge that you are responsible for monitoring your physical condition, remaining properly hydrated, and stopping exercise if you feel unwell.

4. RELEASE OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release, waive, and discharge The Core Club and the Released Parties from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or causes of action arising out of or related to:

• Participation in Activities
• Use of facilities or equipment
• Presence on or around The Core Club premises
• Entry into or exit from any Core Club location

This Release includes claims based on ordinary negligence of The Core Club or its employees.

This Release does not apply to gross negligence or intentional misconduct where prohibited by law.

5. PREMISES LIABILITY

This Agreement applies to all areas associated with The Core Club, including but not limited to:

• Indoor studio spaces
• Entrances and exits
• Hallways and stairways
• Sidewalks and walkways
• Parking lots and surrounding outdoor areas
• Retail areas
• Café spaces

You assume all risks associated with being present in these areas.

6. PERSONAL PROPERTY

The Core Club is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property, including items left in:

• Studio spaces
• Locker rooms
• Retail areas
• Café spaces
• Parking lots

7. HEALTH REPRESENTATION

You represent and warrant that:

• You are physically capable of participating in exercise activities
• You have consulted a physician if necessary prior to participating
• You do not have any condition that would make participation unsafe

You agree to inform instructors of any injuries, pregnancy, medical conditions, or limitations prior to participating in Activities.

The Core Club does not provide medical advice or medical services.

8. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless The Core Club and its Released Parties from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising from:

• Your participation in Activities
• Your use of the facilities
• Any injury or damage caused by you to another person

9. PHOTO AND VIDEO RELEASE

You acknowledge that photographs or videos may be taken within The Core Club facilities for marketing, promotional, and social media purposes.

By entering the premises or participating in Activities, you grant The Core Club the irrevocable right to use your image, likeness, voice, or appearance in any media without compensation.

10. ARBITRATION AGREEMENT

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to this Agreement or participation in Activities shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration rather than in court.

Arbitration shall be conducted in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA).

You understand that arbitration waives your right to a trial by jury.

11. CLASS ACTION WAIVER

You agree that any dispute with The Core Club must be brought individually and not as part of a class action, collective action, or representative proceeding.

12. FUTURE LOCATIONS

This Agreement applies to all current and future locations operated by The Core Club, including but not limited to locations in:

• Maryland
• Delaware
• Any additional states where The Core Club may operate in the future

13. GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State in which the applicable Core Club facility is located.

14. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of this Agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain fully enforceable.

15. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

By signing this Agreement, you acknowledge that:

• You have carefully read and fully understand this Agreement
• You understand that you are waiving certain legal rights
• You voluntarily agree to the terms contained herein

 

PRIVACY POLICY

 

Your privacy is very important to us. The page below goes over in detail how we approach your data.

We will need to take your details from time to time – for example for processing payments, and learning how to offer you a better product. However, we won’t give that info to anyone else, the only use we’ll put it to is something directly related to your account.
